Ira Evan Weintraub is a dedicated attorney with a decade of experience and has the proven capability, reputation and diligence to provide personal service with an emphasis on communication and to handle virtually any real estate need, issue or dispute. Over the past decade, Ira has honed his practice to those matters representing clients in all aspects of complex residential and commercial real estate transactions, including matters of due diligence, finance negotiation, acquisition, subdivision, closing, development, disposition and leasing of residential and commercial properties.

In his career, Ira has represented individual and corporate entities in both residential, commercial and investment property closings throughout the State of Florida in all aspects of sophisticated residential and commercial real estate transactions which have had a total value in excess of $100,000,000.00 in Florida, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Ira has extensive experience in representing both landlords and tenants in residential and commercial real estate-related disputes throughout the State of Florida, including the South Florida tri-county of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties as well as Brevard County. He provides effective legal counsel for owners, renters and property managers in legal matters including evictions, violations of lease agreements, maintenance issues and misappropriation of security deposits.

Ira has represented a broad range of both residential and commercial property owners and managers, from multi-million nationwide companies to single asset holders, from retailers with dozens of locations to multi-site commercial/industrial operations and single location commercial/industrial as well as residential and commercial tenants. Ira has represented both landlords and tenants in numerous lease negotiations involving residential, retail, office, industrial, medical, and other commercial space across the U.S. and has substantial experience in negotiating, drafting and reviewing all types of residential and commercial leases and can fully and clearly explain the elements of both residential and commercial leasing to his clients.
As a licensed title agent with Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc., Ira has extensive experience in representing both sellers and buyers of residential and commercial real estate in the State of Florida.

Ira also advises aspiring and new business owners on the legal, financial, and contractual issues related to starting a business. The firm advises clients during the process of choosing an entity such as LLC, corporation, S-corporation and partnership.

In his career, Ira has also represented developers and individual property owners in matters of real estate property tax disputes before the Value Adjustment Boards of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties.

Ira is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Florida and Massachusetts as well as the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida. Ira earned his Masters of Law degree in taxation from Boston University School of Law, his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree in speech pathology & audiology from the University of Florida.

He was born and raised in South Florida where he continues to live with his wife.
