Policy limits from 4 insurance companies - Young girl was killed when she fell in the street in a small town in Florida and was run over by four vehicles. We argued that it was not possible to determine which vehicle killed our client and all vehicles were liable.

Policy limits from 3 homeowner's policies - 3 year old boy was killed when he burned to death in a fire. The boy was staying overnight at a family friend's house when an electrical cord backed up and sparked a fire. We argued that the landlord failed to maintain the electrical outlets and the tenant negligently placed the cord under a table which caused the outlet to overheat.

Policy limits from 2 homeowner's policies - Young man was shot and killed when another man allegedly tried to pass a gun to him. The police refused to prosecute the shooter. We proved that the gun was illegally stored in a home and was then taken by the shooter who was a guest in the house. The shooter claimed the gun accidentaly discharged. Even though the State Attorney did not prosecute the case, we were able to pursue a civil claim and obtained a significant amount of money for our client's mother.

Confidential Settlement - Man was killed when another vehicle slammed into the rear of his car. He died of multiple fractures and trauma.

Confidential Settlement - Young man was shot and killed at a gas station in Ft Lauderdale as he waited in his car. We proved that the crime could have been prevented if the gas station had adequate security.

Car Accidents and Personal Injury

Confidential Settlement - Handicapped man was injured when his van was struck head on by a drunk driver. The drunk driver died on impact. Our client sustained brain damage and several fractures in the crash.

Crime Victim's Rights

Confidential Settlement - 7 year old girl was molested by her neighbor in a mobile home park. The park advertised a safe community and conducted background checks on all residents. Our investigation found that the molester had a prior arrest for molestation. The park then recanted its story and claimed that it "intended" on conducting background checks, but had not implemented its policy.

Confidential Settlement - Young handicapped girl was molested in day care by the school's janitor. A teacher caught the janitor in the act and called the police. The State Attorney dropped charges against the janitor because our client was not competent to stand trial. Despite this, we were able to prove the molestation through the teacher and recovered a significant amount of money for our client.

Confidential Settlement - A female customer at a car dealership was sexually assaulted by a car salesman. The State Attorney did not prosecute the case. However, our investigation revealed that another customer complained of similar sexual misconduct against the same employee just one year prior at the same dealership.
