What type of homeowner insurance claims can you handle?
If your home was damaged and you filed a homeowner claim which was denied, is being delayed, or you were offered less money than you are entitled to, you may have a claim. Some examples of cases we handle include:
- Unpaid damage from a storm
- Hail damage
- Windstorm damage
- Hurricane damage
- Flood damage
- Fire damage claims
- Theft and Burglary claims
- Tropical Storm claims
- Denial of out of pocket expenses
Why would an insurance company deny my Florida homeowner claim?
Homeowner insurance companies in Florida may try to deny claims based on exclusions in the policy, even when the exclusion may not apply. They may delay payments to influence a lower settlement. They may offer you less in bad faith to save themselves money on a legitimate claim. However, insurance coverage questions may be up to a Court to decide, not the insurance company.
Where do you handle Florida homeowner insurance claims?
Throughout Broward County, Miami-Dade County and Palm Beach county. We can handle Miami homeowner insurance dispute claims, Weston Florida homeowner claims, fire damage claims, water damage claims, hurricane damage insurance claims, and claims in many other South Florida cities, like Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Davie, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Parkland, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Coral Gables and throughout Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. If you need a south Florida homeowners insurance dispute lawyer, call us today at (954) 515-5000.
How long do I have to bring a homeowner claim dispute lawsuit in South Florida?
Generally up to 5 years. In fact, Jason Turchin handled a recent case for a Hurricane Wilma victim nearly 6 years later after the insurance company allegedly misrepresented facts to the Judge in order to get the case dismissed. The Court reopened the case and the lawsuit was permitted to proceed so the homeowner could fight to recover damage to his home 6 years after submitting his hurricane insurance claim.
